After beginning her undergraduate education at Moorhead State University, Dr. Mundahl completed it, as well as her doctoral studies at the Illinois College of Optometry. She then pursued additional training in ocular disease treatment at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Dr. Mundahl’s family includes two wonderful sons, ages 18 and 16 and husband of 20 years, Andy. Outside of her practice, she enjoys yoga, traveling, reading, scrapbooking and golfing. Math and science were Dr. Mundahl’s favorite subjects in school. After receiving her first pair of contacts at age 14, she knew the field of optometry was the perfect fit for her interests and talents.

Dr. Mundahl finds her work fitting babies with contact lenses to improve their vision following surgery for congenital cataracts as a very rewarding part of her career. However, her favorite part of her job is taking in the “wow” moment that occurs each and every time she shows a patient what the world looks like through their new prescription.

Dr. Mundahl sees patients at the Plymouth and Minnetonka Northwest Eye locations.
